Ten July days 100 children aged 6 to 11 years are spending in the Christian summer "Camp of Grace” in Sumy city. Only 30 children out of 100 are from Christian families. For all other children this Christian camp will be the first and good school of how to build their live upon Bible principles.

"Reading the Gospel, we see that Jesus Christ loved children, He spent a lot of time with them and He blessed them. And we as a church also want to bless our children and to serve them. That is why every year we invite from 300 to 600 children in this camp. The camp program offers them not only good rest and fun but also the Good News about Jesus Christ. We are glad that we can contribute to the upbringing of the younger generation, the spiritual contribution of our country ", - said Pastor of Grace Church and director of Camp Grace Sumy Viktor Nechaev.

 Every day at the camp begins with a prayer. After breakfast guys study Bible in small groups with counselors, another new interesting story from the Scripture each day. Children learn to pray and to understand how God works in their lives. Counselors recognize that such a pastime is good for children.

 Tatiana Fedchenko, 20-year-old counselor of "Camp Grace" told why she had devoted time to serving the children: "I decided to serve in the camp to  spread more of the Good News about  Jesus Christ into little hearts. I dream that they would love Jesus as He deserves it.  Kids should know what the LORD did for them, how He suffered for them, that He gave Himself to them and He gave them life. I want kids to learn being kind and loving in relationships with each other. "

Apart from the Bible lessons, children also participate in fun and active games. The boys have already managed to fall in love with rock climbing classes, sports relay and archery, and especially - swimming in the river Psyol. Also at the disposal of children there are trampoline and bicycles.

Dasha Kovalchuk, 10 years old: "What I like the most in this camp is that we have different games, that we go to the dining room, a Bible study lessons. I like our leader, our team, our room, that we go to the river, do crafts.”

Eva Commissioner, 8 years old: "I'm praying here, I learn Christian songs, I study the Bible and learn the golden verses by heart." 

Sasha Bogacheva, 8 years old: "It’s my first time in  a Christian camp, I like it very much. I like that there are good games, and the fact that I found the best girlfriends here."
