It was open for two weeks by "Christian Spiritial Center" NGO and the  team of the "Open Heart" club in Sumy city. Every day the playgrounds were opened simultaneously in 13 courtyards of the city. So near 600 kids from 6 to 12 years old and their parents participated in the activities. As a result hundreds of kids and adults of Sumy heard the Good News.

Every day for few hours  kids had more than enough of sports, competitions, contest, especially with their adorable parachute and to listen to the Bible lesson. Along with great interest to fun and sports kids were very attentive to all about God and the Bible. The team of 27 volunteers were glad to share God's Word with them. Kids are learning how to love their neigbours, to be obidient to parents and many other useful items.

Children anticipate the opening of the payground with a huge interest every day. Here is what they say: "I like the crafts the best! we do so different things with our own hands and then show it to our parents at home. I like the games too. The Playground is very good for the development of kids!" (Alina, 11 years old)

The parents also see the use of Christian activities in  the city: "Just take a look what is going on in the world nowadays: how much evil and bad things happens and here they taught good, Christian ethics that encourages people to live in peace and love... this world is in such a need for all this" (Lidia, a grandmother)
"Cheerful Playground" action was organized by a joint efforts of "Christian Spiritual Center" mission, Sumy regional association of teachers-Christians, local department of All-Ukrainian Union of Young Christians International Center of the Fatherhood and "Grace" Baptist church. This initiative is being held for the second year in a row. We thank God for this opportunity and the unity of Christians of Sumy city in doing powerful projects for God's glory.
